  • Cutting Knife: A general purpose carving knife that's great for beginners. Rounded point.
  • Detail Knife: Features a very fine point for making the narrow cuts associated with detailing.
  • Roughing Knife: Has a straight blade for heavier stock removal. Rounded point.

How to Sharpen Your Knives with the Included Compound:
Glue a piece of leather to a piece of wood to create a strop. Apply compound to strop. Drag blade (away from blade edge) across strop at a 15° angle. Repeat several times on each side to polish edge.
