CALIFORNIA PROPOSITION 65 - WHAT IS IT?

California Proposition 65, also known as the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986, impacts consumers in the state of California only. Under this act, California created a list of over 900 chemicals that they believe cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm. These chemicals may be found in consumer products or could be released into the environment.

As part of this California law, businesses are required to provide warnings to California residents for products that may contain any listed chemical. Lehman's has labelled the appropriate items on our website and a warning will be presented to you during checkout once you have entered a California Bill To or Ship To address.

We will also notify California addresses on the packing slip of your order if an item carries a Prop 65 warning.
