Monitoring for mites is essential for protecting your honey bees! This varroa mite screen base allows mites and debris to fall through the bottom of your hive. Use with a debris board (sold separately).
FOR BEST CARE: We recommend any wooden hive component surface that is exposed to the elements to be protected with exterior primer and paint before use. Only prime and paint the outside, NEVER the inside where the bees live.
