Before Use:
- Wash in warm, soapy water.
- Rinse and dry thoroughly.
- Put a small amount of vegetable oil in fry pan.
- Lightly coat Bacon Press with vegetable oil.
- Place face down in fry pan.
- Heat over very low heat for 20 minutes.
- Wipe off excess oil with paper towel; it's now seasoned and ready for use.
Cleaning and Storing: After each use, wash and dry thoroughly and lightly re-coat with vegetable oil before storing. If there are signs of rust, then re-season by following the steps above.
