Cook and Grill Over the Campfire

With the Petromax Fire Anchor, you can turn any campfire into a practical and versatile cooking area. Made of coated steel, the fire anchor can be simply anchored into the ground quickly and easily next to your campfire site. Whether you wish to use it over an open fire, the Petromax Atago or the Griddle and Fire Bowl, it will reliably help you to cook in the Dutch oven (up to size ft6, not included), make hot water in the Teakettle, or grill vegetable skewers, sausages, etc. on the grilling grate (Petromax cookware and tools sold separately).

• The fire anchor has a central pole, which is to be fixed into the ground, and three arms that you can position individually on the fire anchor at varied heights and directions
• Two of the arms have notches at their ends, from which you can hang your cooking utensils
• The third arm is equipped with a grilling grate and an additional notch for your barbecue gloves or the BBQ and Coal Tongs
• Sausages or vegetable skewers will definitely find place on the large grilling grate with a raised edge

Note: Before using the Fire Anchor, you must always check the consistency of the soil at the campfire site. A sandy soil, for example, is not well suited, for the Fire Anchor will not be very stable there. Make sure that the weight is adequately balanced when cooking with heavy Dutch ovens to ensure that the Fire Anchor is steady and secure.
