Come visit our store in Kidron any day of the week, and you'll see quite a few of these sunset straw hats bobbing around the town square. They're favored by the Amish but also popular with other local folk, from farmers to weekend gardeners. Shade your eyes from the sun, protect your skin from harmful UV rays, plus they just look good. Wear one to work in the garden, to plow the back field or on a walk into town.

But, the bottom line is that it's practical. My Dad and I both wear one of our USA-made Amish straw hats when we garden or do field work on cloudless days.
