Love this place!
This place has everything and anything you could ever be looking for. It is absolutely an incredible place. You can literally spend a couple hours walking around looking for treasures. It's NOT just a hardware store. They have everything in here!!! If you're looking for it and can't find it elsewhere chances are that you'll find it in here! Every time we go back to Akron to visit family we make the trip to visit this awesome hardware store in Amish Country. Highly recommend it!

How to Spend Two Hours in a Hardware Store
This is not just a store; it is a destination. This is my third visit to Amish Country since moving to Ohio 5 years ago, and each time a visit to Lehman's is on the top of the list. Each room offers such a unique shopping experience even if you don't plan to buy anything. The candy shop is loaded with one of a kind treats. Even the area of farm production type tools is fascinating. Plan to spend at least two hours here. Yes, you can even sit down and have a meal here. Can't wait to bring my aunt here who will love Lehman's

Unique hardware store with fascinating stuff, old world and new!
This store is great fun to explore. It is huge and has a lot of unusual items geared to their Amish clientele. They have Amish jams and jellies, hardware, hunting items, cookware, kitchen gadgets, old fashioned candy, toys, clothing, over 300 different bottled sodas, a cafe, you name it, and you can probably find it here. Definitely worth a visit!

Amazing historic store
We have been to Lehman's every time we travel through Ohio. It is truly an amazing step back into time capsule. We have seen products there that we have not seen since childhood 60+ years ago. And the collection of antique tools, antique appliances, farm equipment, firearms, books, etc. are amazing. This store caters to the Amish community with nonelectric items including stoves, heaters and washing machines. Those alone are worth seeing. If you're even anywhere nearby make it a stop journey.

Always interesting! Although we have visited Lehman's store in a long time, their catalog is a real treat! In the past I have purchased a couple of leather fly swatters which will last forever, some delicious pickled watermelon rind (just like my mother's), and the most adorable Amish nativity scene....a Christmas present for friends in Pennsylvania Amish country.

This Place Has Everything
I have been going to Lehman's for years. It has changed its layout, but it has remained committed to its core and that is hardware for the family with a focus on the Amish lifestyle. There are two parking lots, a small one on Kidron Road and a larger one behind the store. This place has books, every root beer, every kitchen utensil you would want, every lotion, oil lamps, knives, unique toys. Ok I'll stop. It has everything. They have a small cafe which I have never used. If you are in the area its worth a stop.

Huge fun shop. It's full of things from the good old days. Hardware, toys, soaps, cooking utensils, glassware, food, snacks, toys, ovens, stoves, farm equipment. Also, they have the largest selection of soda and carbonated beverages I have ever seen. I left with 50 different bottles of root beer, creme soda, and other novelty drinks.

A step back in time Lehman's is a fun place to see. While it is a store it is also a museum and art gallery. The old barn that is the main building is fun to see. When you go into the building don't forget to look up and check out the construction of the old barn. The wood carving art in the buggy shop is enthralling. Beautiful work. Walking through the large store there are several items from history. The new merchandise is a step back in time. Who knew that there are places that still make this stuff. There is stuff there I have never seen before and you will be hard pressed to walk out without purchasing something that you will find very useful. Well worth a trip.

Huge selection of things
A very large mercantile with a fun selection of items. Great for the DIY'er who is looking to make anything from soap to candles. They have an enormous selection of kitchen gadgets and any kind of soda you can imagine. This is the place for your local Amish to shop for lanterns, wheat grinders and tools. Great for tourist as well. Fun shopping here.
