The ultimate choice for cabins, cottages, hunting lodges or vacation homes because it can be easily installed on almost any countertop. Use it alone or in tandem with your electric pump. Draw water up to depths of 25 vertical feet.

You can obtain low-cost PVC pipe (readily available at any hardware, plumbing or home improvement store). Drop pipe must terminate below water and far enough off the bottom of the well or cistern to prevent it from sucking up dirt when you pump. If the pump is installed in a location that may freeze, note that using a foot valve or check valve will defeat the frost-free drain function. If the pump freezes, the pump or the drop pipe could crack.
If the pump is installed indoors and protected from freezing, installing a foot valve or check valve at the bottom of the drop pipe will keep the pump primed and may improve performance.
Water's surface must be less than 20' to 25' from pump for this pump to work. If water level is deeper, you need a deep well pump (also available from Lehman's).
Produces about 19 oz per stroke. It takes seven strokes to produce a gallon of water.
